About Us
Craft. Culture. Contemporary Design.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Timur and Charos in Uzbekistan in 2018, Teplo has been dedicated to preserving cultural craftsmanship while supporting independent designers and artisans — 95% of them women-led. Through small-batch collections that carry each maker’s story, traceable origins, and a commitment to longevity, we connect heritage with modern, sustainable fashion.
In 2025, we launched the Silk Road Pop-up as one of Teplo Store’s projects, bringing our mission to an international stage. This curated space serves as a living bridge between Silk Road heritage and contemporary design, showcasing artisans who embody slow fashion and sustainability.
Debuting as the first retail space at the London Design Biennale 2025, named by Forbes among the “9 Highlights of the Biennale”, and hosting pop-up experiences in Soho, London.

We stand for slow fashion, sustainability, and cultural exchange. Natural and upcycled materials, fair pay, and limited-run production ensure every piece minimises waste and honours the hands that made it. Many carry centuries-old techniques — suzani embroidery, ikat weaving — reimagined for today.
More than a store, we create immersive cultural spaces: live craft demonstrations, artisan workshops, and community gatherings that connect you directly with the people and stories behind each design.
